About Our Founder:
Dr. Dheshnie Thangavelu
I am a South African-trained, Canadian board-certified anesthesiologist who has worked and lived in South Africa, England and Canada.
Over the years, I have trained many young, enthusiastic students on their way to becoming anesthesiologists. I started my journey as a Master Injector a couple of years ago, as I was very interested in treating my migraines with Botox.
Once I’d gone through all of the various courses, I discovered I had an artistic eye and a passion for helping people discover the best versions of themselves.
I began working to incorporate both pain management and cosmetic facial and body treatments into my clinical practice.
I still practice anesthesia, working mainly at the BC Cancer Agency. I enjoy the variety of working in both the anesthetic and aesthetic fields.
