Undereye Hollows

Undereye hollows form due to a loss of facial volume and thinning of the skin under the eyes, but their appearance can also be affected by several other factors.

The primary causes of undereye hollows include loss of the fat pads under the eyes, which is caused by thinning of the skin, along with loss of volume in the face caused by bone resorption due to aging.

Aside from the aging process and the loss of facial volume, these undereye depressions can become more pronounced for various reasons, like dehydration, genetics, lack of sleep, and weight gain or loss.
