Why Dr. Dheshnie’s Botox Treatments Are a Step Above the Rest

Why Dr. Dheshnie’s Botox Treatments Are a Step Above the Rest

Botox is currently the most popular non-invasive cosmetic treatment in the world.

But unfortunately, people have a lot of misconceptions about Botox, not least in regard to the quality of the treatments they’re receiving.

Sure, the only people who can legally administer Botox injections are licensed healthcare practitioners, but that doesn’t mean everyone who offers this treatment will be able to provide the same results.

And sadly, just because someone’s licensed, it doesn’t mean they’re going to be completely honest with their patients or follow best practices.

That being said, we want to take this opportunity to expose some of the deceptive, distasteful, and downright dishonest conduct that is becoming all too common in this industry when it comes to injectables like Botox.

We also want to explain why our Botox treatments provide superior results and promote the best interests of our patients.

So, if you’re considering getting Botox injections and you want to know what to watch out for, and why you should choose Deez Skin Rejù, then this article is for you.

What Makes Our Botox Treatments So Much Better?

Despite what people might think, the quality of Botox treatments isn’t the same across the board.

But before we dive too deep into this, it’s important to explain something about Botox.

While Botox is the term everyone uses to describe this injectable, it’s actually a brand name for a type of botulinum toxin, which is the active ingredient in all of these wrinkle-reducing injectables.

If you want to learn more about Botox, including what it is, how it works, potential side effects, and more, you should check out our article, Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Botox Injections.

So, now that you know what the term Botox actually means, let’s talk about why Dr. Dheshnie’s Botox treatments are more effective than most.

The first factor to consider is the brands of botulinum toxin Dr. Dheshnie chooses to use.

Aside from Botox, there are several other brands out there, including Dysport, Xeomin, Nuceiva, and Jeuveau, which all contain some form of botulinum toxin, along with other ingredients.

For example, Botox contains botulinum toxin, along with a protein derived from human blood plasma called albumin (human), and sodium chloride.

Dysport, on the other hand, contains botulinum toxin, lactose, and human serum albumin, which is a slightly different form of the protein found in Botox.

After trying out various forms of botulinum toxin on herself, and seeing the results of these different brands in patients whom she’s treated, Dr. Dheshnie swears by Dysport.

She will use Botox, if a patient asks for it, but she prefers to use Dysport, as it has a slightly different composition, which makes it much more effective.

Dysport is the only brand that’s worked for Dr. Dheshnie, she’s seen impressive results from its use in about 99 per cent of patients, and she believes it’s the unique ingredients in Dysport, and specifically, the protein, which accounts for its effectiveness.

At the same time, Dysport also works much faster than other forms of botulinum toxin. Typically, with Dysport, you’ll see results within two or three days, whereas with Botox, it takes up to 14 days.

So, why are our Botox treatments so much better?

Well, Dr. Dheshnie has tried various brands of botulinum toxin on herself, and witnessed the results (or lack thereof) they’ve provided for countless patients, so she knows what works and what doesn’t, and by following her recommendations, you can expect faster and more effective results.

Combine all of this with the fact that Dr. Dheshnie doesn’t partake in any of the trickery that’s become so rampant in this industry, and you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone who can provide better Botox in Vancouver.

The Most Common Trick Played on Botox Patients

common botox injections

At this point, you’re probably wondering what kind of trickery we’re talking about.

One of Dr. Dheshnie’s patients was actually the unfortunate victim of one of these disingenuous injectors, but it’s certainly not the first she’s heard of it.

This patient described to Dr. Dheshnie a Botox treatment she had received from another injector.

He claimed to have given her 50 units of Botox, and charged a discounted price, but the patient was not satisfied with the results.

Dr. Dheshnie, on the other hand, only gave this patient 20 units of Botox, but she charged the standard price, and the woman was amazed at how much more impressive the results were.

Now, many of you are probably asking yourselves, “How is that even possible?”

Well, the truth is, he did not give her 50 units, and was probably heavily diluting the Botox, otherwise it’s unlikely he would be offering it at a discount.

You see, all these forms of botulinum toxin come in a powder form, which obviously has to be somewhat diluted in order to place it in a solution so it can be injected.

But what some injectors are doing is diluting it much more than is necessary.

How do we know this?

Well, in Canada, Botox typically sells for about $14 per unit, but the injector described above, for instance, was offering it at a price of $7 per unit.

But that just doesn’t make sense, as no one in their right mind would take that much of a hit to their profits just to be competitive.

More likely, what’s happening is that they’re claiming to give a patient 50 units at $7 per unit, but in reality, they’re diluting it so much that the patient is probably only getting the equivalent of 25 units.

So, for the injector, the price point is the same, but this dilution trick makes people think they’re getting a better deal, when in reality, they’re getting a watered-down version of the product, and watered-down results, which explains the experience of the patient we mentioned earlier.

Now, before we wrap this up, it’s important to mention that you should be wary of injectors offering Botox who advertise these kinds of treatments based on price points.

First of all, as you can see from the example above, those who claim to be giving discounts on these kinds of treatments aren’t really offering any kind of legitimate deal.

More importantly, the rules prescribed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia very clearly state that physicians should only be advertising to potential customers based on their skill set and/or experience, and not based on pricing.

So, if you’re shopping around for Botox injections, and an injector is claiming they offer the best deal in town, it’s a sign you should stay away from them, as they’re clearly not trustworthy.
